Privacy

AGURL collects only the information reasonably needed to operate the service.

The short version

We do not sell customer personal information or account data.

What we collect

AGURL may store information such as:

  • account email address
  • account and security information, including hashed passwords and hashed verification codes
  • links and destinations customers create
  • basic shortcode usage, such as how many times a link was opened and on which days
  • information needed to detect spam, abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access

Passwords and email verification codes are stored as hashes, not as readable plaintext.

Link analytics

When someone opens a AGURL link, we record that a visit happened so customers can see simple analytics: visit counts and the days those visits occurred. AGURL does not currently store device, browser, referrer, or location details for those visits.

Email

AGURL uses email for account verification, security, and other account-related service messages. We do not send marketing email.

Service providers

AGURL relies on infrastructure and service providers needed to run the service, such as hosting, email delivery, and security. Cloudflare may process requests as part of network delivery and bot protection (including Turnstile).

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only when needed to operate AGURL, protect the service, comply with law, or respond to abuse or security issues.

Payments

AGURL uses payment providers such as Stripe and PayPal to process paid purchases.

These providers handle payment-account and funding information. AGURL stores transaction identifiers, purchase status, plan, amount, optional auto-renew preferences, and reusable provider customer or payment-method references needed to renew later.

AGURL does not store full payment-card numbers or your PayPal password.

Account deletion

Customers may delete their account from Account settings. Deletion ends login and any grandfathered Innovator renewal right. Permanent Innovator slots, badges, history, and Credits names are not removed or recycled. AGURL may retain information needed for security, abuse prevention, legal obligations, or operational records. Deletion does not promise immediate erasure from every backup.

This Privacy page may be updated as AGURL changes.
